I’ve been ask to do some research regarding to actuarial science and risk management. Do you have any suggestion on the topic?? I’m more to economy growth

You can do a research on climate change and how effective risk management could prevent the loss. In this you can study about the patterns of climate change, effect of global warming, what steps are taken to mitigate it, how insurance plays a role, in mitigation of risk how Actuarial knowledge can be used, etc.

You can also study about the share market, about bonds, futures, forwards or mutual funds etc. And what is the role of Actuaries in finance and investment.

I have published a research paper in the past, the one thing I’ll suggest you(if your serious about it and really want to learn). Start reading every articles on risk management and actuaries. About risk and everything. It would give you great insight on how you can go further. Will also help you select a unique topic.

It’s an interesting topic. actually that climate topic Has been playing around in my mind before but im not really confident with it. And thank you  you have opened my mind. Okay thank you for the help .i’ll read more the article related .

HOW DOES A FRESHER START RESEARCH ON A ACTURIAL RELATED TOPIC?

I did googled some things but found contradicting results :’)

For a fresher it’s very hard, you need to have proper guidance to start it. Doing it my all yourself is very very hard.

But you can start to writing an article on your own on a topic of your choice. It will help you to increase your knowledge, writing skills, and most importantly make yourself more available (job), etc.

Some of the basic topics that you can write-

Telematics,

Artificial intelligence and actuarial

Machine learning and actuarial,

and many other.

And you can always contact The Actuarial Club(to publish the article) or me for any other help. :’)
