Could you throw light on growth trends in Reinsurance sector. Does this sector prove to be a mass employer in current scenario or near future? What skills should a student posses that are desired by employers worldwide.

My father was in reinsurance and my sister is a senior property casualty underwriter with Swiss Re today. I believe the many catastrophes we have seen recently are putting more emphasis on the reinsurance market. Reinsurance is also an area where communication is very important. The actuaries and underwriters need some sales skills as well. At the end of the day, insurance companies need capital to do business. Reinsurance is an important source of capital, and will continue to be so.
