Product Ideation and DesignCollaborate in the design of new products along with other stakeholders and play a pivotal role in product development lifecycle starting from ideation, pricing, internal and regulatory approval, including working with specific distribution channels and partners to design products meeting their customer segmentation
- Strike a right balance between shareholder commercial considerations, TCF principles and health risk management aspects while recommending product designs
- Together with the product manager, assist in formulating changes if required to the product design or to the system to administer new products
- Adherence to the product launch calendar and supporting the organization through pro-active changes
Product PricingProvide main technical inputs and ensure robustness of pricing models and illustrations
- Ability to create and review excel models for pricing and profit testing
- Ability to provide insightful summary of the results of various iteration and sensitivities done during pricing
- Comprehensive analysis on various product design aspects in the Pricing Report
- Lead the development of pricing assumptions and take necessary sign-offs
- Review and sign off on all the pricing related work before the sign-off by Appointed Actuary and Chief Actuary
Product ApprovalPrepare the pricing report and facilitate approval from internal product approval committee and the Appointed Actuary
- Prepare the relevant sections of – File and Use- document and reply to IRDA queries
Policy Administration SystemOversee preparation and execution of UAT related to pricing and provide sign offs
Corporate GovernanceSupport development of SOPs for all existing processes, including making amendments and seeking approval as required per protocol
- Compliance to process SOPs and facilitating action as required basis audit findings (if any)
Other ExpectationsLiaise with other members within product management team and accomplish other projects that are assigned from time to time
- Learn and grow by interacting with other parts of the organization like distribution, marketing, investments, underwriting and legal and making effective working relationships
