I wasn’t asked much of technical questions but to summarise, this is what I was asked:

Brief me through your resume.

Tell me about yourself, your strengths, weaknesses, likes, dislikes.

What is reinsurance and why do companies take up a reinsurance contract?

Brief me through your project (since I had a project on my resume).

What do you know about the company?

What do you expect from the internship?

If we want to price a project, what would be the steps to do so?

Suppose it’s an insurance policy, how would the above steps vary?

Tell me about Reinsurance Training Program that you attended. (since I had attended it which was conducted by IAI)

Do you mind explaining to me what “project” you are talking about? And also how can I go about doing one myself?

Mine was a case study which I did on the downfall of General Motors and I related the concepts of Enterprise Risk Management to it. So you can do any such case study or even create something using any programming language you’re familiar with, of course it should be relevant to actuarial. That’s nothing but a project.
