The Actuarial job myth… The myth is, You can’t get a job in actuarial without reference or referral or recommendation.
The truth is,
You won’t get a job despite all of these things if you are not capable.
Yes it’s true, that getting a fresher job is Actuarial is a hard thing, it might take months also. But that doesn’t mean you need network to get one.
I have personally heard many stories of students who managed to get a job within a month or less without any network.
The main reason why it takes long is due to ubundance of resumes for a particular job, so sometimes there is random selection of resumes.
But, if your resume is good and mail too(see previous posts). You will definitely get a call soon
So stay positive. You will get it soon.
