I’ve been ask to do some research regarding to actuarial science and risk management. Do you have any suggestion on the topic?? I’m more to economy growth
You can do a research on climate change and how effective risk management could prevent the loss. In this you can study about the patterns of climate change, effect of global warming, what steps are taken to mitigate it, how insurance plays a role, in mitigation of risk how Actuarial knowledge can be used, etc.
You can also study about the share market, about bonds, futures, forwards or mutual funds etc. And what is the role of Actuaries in finance and investment.
I have published a research paper in the past, the one thing I’ll suggest you(if your serious about it and really want to learn). Start reading every articles on risk management and actuaries. About risk and everything. It would give you great insight on how you can go further. Will also help you select a unique topic.
