The Actuarial Club has always been a platform to grow by helping each other. This is your chance to advance and contribute towards the profession and help fellow students.

Wouldn’t it be great! If you have some tips on advance that could help you to clear the paper! Some tips that could guide how to study!

So, if you have cleared CM1 and have some tips and tricks that you could share that you find helpful while studying CM1(CT1 or CT5), wouldn’t that be really helpful to others.

The tip could be anything – how should you solve papers, which chapters to begin, which chapters to focus, which chapters not to focus, how to plan your study, how to learn/manage excel, etc. Anything!

All I request give atleast ONE TIP, just ONE TIP.

      Thank you

I had gone throungh the course notes of CM1 Part B, it is the part where most of the student struggle with.

So i feel one should study the theory part of chap & then on the basis of that knowledge should try solving part B questions provided by Acted on his own & then should try to match their solution of Acted & remember that it is not necessary that we have use the same formula or function used by them.

Also, time management is utmost imp while solving Excel ppr. So try learning few excel shortcut key which can be useful & save your time.

So the one is using Ctrl+D & Ctrl+R instead of using fill handle. Even for graph also there are various shortcut which can be used to save alot of time during exam.
