Job Description 

Principal Duties/Responsibilities 

Review client data and conduct initial data analysis 

Identify appropriate probability models for future risk 

Model, quantify, and value insurable risks faced by our corporate clients. 

Produce presentations in PowerPoint and formal reports in Word 

Maintain a comprehensive audit trail for all analytical work 

Strong actuarial judgment skills will be needed to perform this role effectively 

Prepare and present output data from the models to support actuarial analysis 

Preparation of loss probability studies, actuarial reserve studies, exhibits, text and other actuarial projects assigned by the UK 

Develop and apply innovative approaches for identifying risks for our clients, for regions where no standardized risk assessment tools or models exist 

Required Qualifications, Skills, Knowledge, Experience 

Highly numerate, with preferably Mathematics or a related discipline at degree level

Advanced computer modelling skills

Proficiency in MS Office 

Good communication skills in English 

Actuarial Exams – Preferred Papers cleared/attempted ( minimum 2 /maximum 6) 

General Insurance experience would be preferred

The successful candidate will receive training and study support within a stimulating, multi-disciplined team of actuaries and other risk professionals to develop technical, commercial, and management skills.

Shifts – Day Rotational – 6:30 am – 2:30 pm & 2:30 pm – 10:30 pm

Interview Venue (Date & Time) – Tuesday,08-May-18 between 10:00 am – 11:30 am
