      You might be asked,

How do you analyse this particular kind of data?

      What charts would you make?

How would you report this data to the client?

      And many other

Charts are probably the best way of presenting the data but which charts are used for which data is a hard question. One can only learn this by experience. But what if you know the answer already, don’t you think it would be great plus point. Yes it would be!!

      So let’s understand it

Do you want to understand how your data is distributed?

      2. Line

      3. Bargraph

      4. Column Chart

Do you want to analyze trends in the data?

      1. Column

      2. Line Chart

      3. Dual Axis Line Chart

Do you want to compare the values of your data?

      1. Bar

      2. Column

      3. Line chart

      4. Bullet chart

Do you want to see the components of your data?

      1. Pie Chart

      2. Stacked Bar

      3. Stacked Column

      4. Area

      5. Waterfall Chart

Do you want to better understand the relationship of subsets of data?

      1. Scatter Plot

      2. Line

      3. Bubble Chart

      Hope it helps :)

Boxplot can also be used to see how data is distributed.
