How to get a placement in acturial science?

Hello sir/maam, I am rompy from uttrakhand and I am currently studying in class 12 from science stream (PCM).Can i hope a good future in acturial science? If yes please tell me how to do that in steps actually i am confused what to do when first i have to give ACET then what then what… Please do tell me about known colleges which may help me out in clearing exams and getting a good placement…..please help…

[emoji4]hello arpit I am reet from gurgaon .I have some queries regarding actuarial math .I have not studied math in class 11 and 12 and I am preparing for actuarial exam .I want to know that is trignometry part comes in actuarial exams even in acet exam ??

If you talk about ACET, there is no fixed syllabus for ACET and thus any level of Trigonometry question could be asked.

If talked about Actuarial papers, only basic/no knowledge of Trigonometry is required.

What I recommend is, to understand the basics of Trigonometry i.e class 10th, since it might be helpful for further Actuarial papers.

And for ACET, trigonometry won’t be asked more than 5 marks and learning trigonometry requires lot of time and efforts, so it’s better to skip and focus on other parts.
