      IFOA is considering to change the word associate actuary( a person who has cleared CT and CA series) to the name Charted Actuary.

      The reasons are many, but the primary reason is that the word Charted is more recognizable than word associate. Thus helping the profession to reach out more people.

      IFOA is still considering this option, and asking members about thier view on it.

      What are your views regarding it?

      What do you think its pros and cons are?

      What effects it will bring to IAI and will IAI also make that change, if implemented?

        They have been thinking it from a long time and I really like this idea!
