Yes… How not to use LinkedIn. You must have seen many articles how LinkedIn could be used to increase network or get a job or any other stuff. But, I want to point out How you shouldn’t use LinkedIn.
Recently I posted on LinkedIn about my professional updates and since I have lot of connections I received at least 50 Dm’s, 95 likes and 20 comments.
Now, as usual most of them are generic (auto generated by LinkedIn) and as usual I didn’t even bother to think of even replying.
So, NEVER DO THIS
Its not doing anything good for you, its just helping me getting more views.
Secondly, even if you framed a good message and congratulated someone. Do you really think that person will help you get a job?
Ya, it might help you to start conversation but trust me this is not the best approach. There are many many good approached that you can use to connect with people and even get a job.
