esponsibilities
[li]Performing monthly policy level renewal rate change calculations using web based custom application (US) and excel based tool (Bermuda), including performing manual interventions to scrub the data and modify calculation, if needed;[/li] [li]Performing monthly and quarterly renewal rate change and retention reporting;[/li] [li]Performing renewal rate change and retention ad hoc reporting;[/li]
Portfolio Monitoring-
[li]Performing monthly ranking of upcoming policy renewals for US and Bermuda, and monitoring renewal rate changes and retention results by renewal grade (monthly);[/li] [li]Performing reporting of monthly writings;[/li] [li]Performing monthly reporting for Global Top 10 Key Measures by Profit Center;[/li] [li]Performing quarterly reporting for gross and net written premium and unpaid losses by annual statement line grouping;[/li] [li]Supporting Risk Management by providing information quarterly on in force premium and policies by US Profit Center;[/li] [li]Performing monthly reporting of claim metrics; Performing reporting for Multi-Disciplinary Reviews (MDRs) four (4) times per year, including loss ratio segmentations and book profile reports;[/li] [li]Performing quarterly Managing General Agent (MGA) program monitoring ;[/li] [li]Performing yearly benchmarking on industry loss ratios using publicly available information;[/li] [li]Performing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) on reports[/li] [li]Performing ad hoc reporting, including portfolio slices and claim measures;[/li] [li]Performing advance data preparation for ad hoc analysis and reinsurance data calls;[/li]
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
[li]Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Mathematics, Actuarial Science or related field[/li]
Preferred Qualifications
[li]Relevant experience in general insurance (P&C) with B.S. degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance or other major with significant credits in technical, analytical or quantitative subject matter.[/li] [li]2-4 Actuarial exams from CAS or any other equivalent Actuarial society.[/li] [li]Extensive analytical and problem solving skills.[/li] [li]Programming / coding experience in SQL and VBA. Knowledge of R is preferred but not required.[/li] [li]Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Power Point.[/li] [li]Ability to work independently as well as in larger teams.[/li] [li]Effective time management skills.[/li] [li]Excellent written and verbal communication skills.[/li]
